Jungheinrich Experience Center
Developed within VAVE’s overall exhibition concept, I designed the digital visitor experience for the Jungheinrich Experience Center. Through immersive media, spatial storytelling and interactive information design, I created a cohesive journey that transforms complex warehouse automation into an intuitive and engaging experience.

My Contribution
Developed for Jungheinrich AG in collaboration with VAVE GmbH, I was responsible for the end-to-end experience design of the digital exhibition. My work spanned experience strategy, visitor journey design, spatial experience, UX/UI design, visual communication, information design and exhibition media. Rather than designing isolated interfaces, the focus was on creating one continuous narrative where architecture, digital media and physical interaction work together as a cohesive visitor experience.
Designing the Visitor Journey
The Experience Center was conceived as a guided journey rather than a traditional product showroom. Instead of presenting products individually, visitors move through a sequence of immersive environments exploring electrification, connectivity and automation before entering the real Material Flow Arena. Each space builds upon the previous one, gradually transforming complex technologies into an intuitive and engaging experience through carefully choreographed storytelling, transitions and visual communication.
Connecting Digital and Physical Worlds
Throughout the exhibition, digital media and physical installations merge into one cohesive experience. Large-scale media walls, projection mapping, interactive interfaces and synchronized lighting work seamlessly alongside RFID interactions, holographic effects, a robotic arm and autonomous technologies. Rather than functioning as isolated exhibits, every installation contributes to one continuous narrative that demonstrates how software, machines and people operate together as a connected ecosystem.
Making the Invisible Visible
Warehouse automation usually operates behind the scenes. Routing decisions, warehouse management, fleet intelligence and autonomous control remain invisible during everyday operations. Through layered information design, cinematic motion graphics and real-time visualizations, these hidden processes become tangible and easy to understand. The experience culminates in the Master Control installation before transitioning into the Material Flow Arena, where visitors encounter the physical technologies behind the digital experience, completing the journey from information to reality.
