MCL IT Webshop
Concept, UX and UI design for the webshop and campaign platform of MCL, an IT solutions provider for business customers.
Business customers buy hardware, compare manufacturers and learn about services and IT solutions on one platform. Alongside the shop, the campaign landing page “Reduce to the Max” introduced the new AMD EPYC processor generation through four clear benefits: lower CO₂ footprint, less space, lower budget and maximum performance.
I defined the information architecture and designed the key areas: category structure, product teasers with price and availability, manufacturer comparison, service overview, solution pages and the careers section. A bold visual language in yellow and black gives a technical subject a confident, recognisable look, consistent across desktop and mobile.
I was responsible for the entire UX/UI process, from concept and information architecture to visual design and component specifications. A clear structure organises MCL’s extensive product range into logical solution categories, so business customers find what they need quickly. Precise typography and structured layouts convey MCL’s IT expertise and speak directly to IT decision-makers.
I designed elements that highlight MCL’s partnerships with leading hardware manufacturers such as Intel and AMD and show customers the advantages these partnerships bring. Clear user journeys lead from the landing page to the purchase, while focused calls to action and simple decision paths guide visitors through a complex product range.
The result is a B2B webshop that combines technical depth with easy navigation. Shop, campaign and content work together on one platform, making specialised IT products accessible to business customers while strengthening MCL’s profile as an expert partner.
